Pam Oman Burton

Tremonton – Pamela Oman Burton, 59, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother returned to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, due to complications from cancer. Pam was born on July 3, 1946 in Brigham City, Utah to Harold G. and Sarah Blanche Loveland Oman. She was raised in Yost, Utah the eighth of eleven children. Pam married William O. Burton, Jr. (Bill) April 21, 1967. They made their home in Tremonton, Utah. Together they had three children. Pam was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The joy of her life was spending time with her seven grandchildren: Whitnie, Kortnie and Wyatt Burton, McKenzie, Jessica, Ashlie and Luke Leishman. Pam was very talented with quilting, knitting and the lost art of tatting. Pam enjoyed being outdoors with her family, four-wheeling and camping. Pam’s greatest attribute was the caring and giving to others, even in her last days her only concerns were for others and not for herself. Pam is survived by her husband, William O. Burton, Jr. (Bill); two sons: Todd (Steffanie) Burton and Tim (Keri) Burton; one daughter, Tammy (Jeff) Leishman; seven grandchildren; five sisters: Annabell (The Late Leo) Ottley, Thora (Theron) Hill, Blanche (Jay) Bodily, Cathy (Donald) Shelton and a very special twin sister: Pat (Scott) Knudsen; three brothers: T. C. Oman, Gus (Renee) Oman and Milton (Marsha) Oman; and many loved nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Gary Oman and Delbert Oman.
