HOLD FINAL RITES FOR MALTA RESIDENT
Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Beyler were held Tues. At 2 p.m. at the Malta LDS Ward with Bishop J. Henry Thompson officiating. The prelude and postlude were played by Maurine Sanders. She also acc. The musical numbers. The first number was “Sometime We’ll Understand.” By the Singing Mothers of the Ward. The invocation by R.J. Harper. Vocal Solo “In the Garden” by Barbara Udy. Obituary and Remarks by Bishop Thompson. Speakers were S.H. Barlow and Afton D. Nye followed by a song “Smiling Through” by Barbara Udy. Speaker Chester Loveland and song “My Redeemer Lives” by the Singing Mothers. Benediction by Fred Gardiner.
Internment under the direction of McCulloch’s was in the family plot in the Malta Cemetery. Alma Findlay, of Bloomington Idaho Ward, gave the grave dedication.
The flower ladies were members of the R.S. and Pallbearers were Leo Bell, R.K. Hepworth, L.P. Hall, Joe Hepworth, Harvey Wight and Fred E. Ottley.

MALTA, IDA—Mrs. Gladys Ellen Nelson Beyler, 52, Malta, Ida., died Saturday at 1:20 a.m. in a Salt Lake Hospital.
Mrs. Beyler was born Jan. 12, 1897, at Fish Haven, Ida. A daughter of David F. and Ellen Findlay Nelson. She moved to Hams Fork, Wyo., with her parents when just a child, where she lived until her marriage Oct. 11, 1915 to Leo William Beyler.
The couple moved to Malta, Ida. Shortly after their marriage and have resided here since that time.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was active in the Relief Society and Primary Associations. She was a counselor in the Relief Society for about 14 years in the Malta Ward, Raft River Stake. She was also an active genealogical and temple worker.
Surviving besides her husband of Malta, are nine sons and daughters. Mrs. Gladys Adelia Thompson, Burley, Ida.; Mrs. Veloy Buckingham, Logan; Arvil Beyler, Los Angeles; Mrs. Ellen Spencer, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Edith Anderson, Logan; Mrs. Ressa Hutchison, Malta; Grant Beyler, serving a mission for the Church in Minnesota; LaMont Beyler, Malta; Yvonna Beyler, Bountiful; six brothers and sisters, Marcus Nelson, Salt Lake City; Ralph Nelson, Oregon; Rudger Nelson, Kemmerer, Wyo., Austin Nelson , Kemmerer, Wyo. Mrs. Idella Pugmire, Kemmerer; Clifford Nelson, Fort Ritcher, Wyo.
Funeral Services and burial with be in Malta, Idaho.
