Albert Cottle
MALTA – Albert Joseph Cottle, 85, Malta, died of a long illness Saturday at Cassia Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 9, 1885, at Hooper, Utah, where he attended school. On Aug. 16, 1916, he married Ethel L. Hall at Albion. Mrs. Cottle died Dec. 23, 1964.
Mr. Cottle was a longtime rancher and stockman and was a member of the Idaho Cattlemen’s Association. He was a former board member of the Raft River Rural Electric Association. He was active in the Scouting program and was a member of the LDS Church. He came to Idaho in 1912. He settled at Malta and lived there until his death.
Surviving are a son, Albert Jay Cottle, Malta; a sister, Mrs. Clara Hinton, Ogden, Utah, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Malta LDS Ward Chapel by Bishop Wallace Briggs. Final rites will be at the Malta Cemetery. Friends amy call at Payne Mortuary, Burley, Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday at the church for an hour prior to services.
