Swen Howard Jacobs, rancher and cattleman at Malta, died Monday at his home in Malta. He was born 27 May 1892 at Salem, Idaho, the son of Hyrum S. and Caroline Nelson Jacobs.

Surviving are his father of Thornton, Idaho, his wife Mrs. Sarah Margaret Hitt Jacobs, one son Sidney Monta Jacobs. A brother, Wallace of Los Angeles. A sister, Mrs. Lon Larson of Salt Lake City, A sister Mrs. Bill Freeman of Thonton and a sister Mrs. Maude Hawk of Los Angeles also survive.

The body is being held at Johnson Mortuary until Friday morning when it will be taken to Malta where it will lie in state at his home until time of services, Friday at 2 p.m. from the Malta L. D. S. Church with Bishop John O. Smith officiating. The interment under the direction of Johnson Mortuary will be made in the family plot in the Malta Cemetery.
