MRS. SALLIE MONTGOMERY PASSES AWAY AT MALTA

Aged 86, passed away at Malta Thursday at home at 1 a.m. from general debility at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lucy Spalding on the Keough ranch near Malta. Mrs. Montgomery had come recently from her Salt Lake home to visit her daughter.

The deceased was born in Scott county, Ind. June 11, 1843. She had been a resident of Salt Lake City for a number of years and for the past several years had lived with her son Henry D Montgomery.

Her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago and was buried in Oklahoma. Mrs. Montgomery had been a member of the Baptist Church all her life.

Surviving are the following daughters; and sons; Mrs. Lucy Spalding of Malta, Mrs. Frances Simpson of Matheson, Colo., Mrs. Daisy Bullinger of Wichita, Kans., Ernest E. Montgomery of Pueblo, Colo., and Henry D. Montgomery of Salt Lake City, Ut.

Funeral Services were held Sat. At Malta at 1 p.m. with interment at Malta Cemetery. It was Mrs. Montgomery request to be buried in Malta.
