JOSEPH O. SMITH of Malta Passes Away

Joseph Obray Smith aged 46, of Malta, passed away at 3:40 o’clock Monday morning at the Bellevue hospital in Burley from peritonitis following an operation. A resident of the Raft River Valley for 19 years, he was widely known and leaves a wife and family to mourn his death. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Smith of Malta, and is survived by 3 brothers and a sister Mrs. Charles Shaw of Burley.

Funeral Services were held Thursday afternoon at Malta, Bishop Neddo officiating. Interment was in Malta Cemetery. Undertaker Johnson in charge.
