BURLEY • Jeremy David Hutchison, 43, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley, Idaho.

He was born Nov. 24, 1968, in Tooele, Utah. Jeremy grew up in Malta, Idaho, and graduated from Raft River High School in 1987. He attended college at the University of Idaho in Moscow and horseshoeing school in Ardmore, Okla. Jeremy worked for both the Raft River Highway District and the Oakley Highway District as an equipment operator for the past 19 years.

Jeremy married Verda Hogg in 1993 in Burley, Idaho, and they were happily married for nearly 20 years. Their four beautiful children were the light of Jer’s life, and he took great pride in each of their accomplishments. Jeremy enjoyed golf, poker and spending time with family and friends. He was an artist, a poet and a great story teller. All children loved Jeremy, and he touched the lives of so many of them. Much of Jer’s time was spent horseshoeing, and there are countless horses and owners who will find him irreplaceable. Jeremy was a perfectionist, and it showed in all he did. He always took the time to make sure every job was done right. Jeremy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Verda; his proud son, Breckon; and his adoring daughters, Abby, Gracie and Ashton Hutchison of Burley; his mother, Sharon (Whitaker) Hutchison of Malta; his in-laws, Paul and LuAnn Hogg; his brothers, Brad (Tami) Hutchison of Malta, Terry (Dawnette) Hutchison of Malta and Tommy (Brenda) Hutchison of Elba; his sisters, Toyia Hutchison of Malta and Brandi (Brandon) Bedke of Oakley; and his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Odell (Tinker) Hutchison.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at the View LDS 1st Ward building, 550 S. 500 E. of Burley, with Bishop Art Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley Vu Cemetery in Malta. Friends may call from 6 until 8 pm.
