He is survived by his wife, Debbra of Meridian; his children of a previous marriage, DeAnna (Dee Dee) Chloe and Bobby Lee Jr.; four stepchildren, Shay, Billie, Justin and Drew; his parents Pete and Pat White of Malta; three brothers, David White (Karen) of Snowville, Utah, Talmer Lyyn White (Cathy) of Malta and Bruce White (Debbie) of Elk, Nev.; his sister, Patti Kimber (Jeff) of Grouse Creek, Utah; and six grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, one grandson and one nephew.

Bobby attended school in Big Spring Texas.  On Oct. 18, 1969, he married Patricia Golahugh, and they had two children.  Bobby joined the Navy on Jan. 12, 1970.  He and Patty later divorced, and he married Deborah Ness (deceased) on Nov. 12, 1986.  He then married Debbra Beckett on Dec. 19, 1998, at the Meridian Assembly of God Church.  After his discharge from the military, he moved to Malta in 1982 and worked for C&Y Dairy for three years.  He later moved to Boise, where he was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

He proclaimed Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1997 and was baptized Aug. 3 of that year at the Meridian Assembly of God Church.  One of the highlights of his walk with Jesus was flying to Washington, D.C., and attending PromiseKeepers Million Man March at our nation’s capital with his dear friend, Wes Thurston.  Bobby was employed by the Meridian Assembly of God Church as the church custodian for four years and was part owner of a landscaping business.  He loved playing his guitar, singing, fishing, church and being with his family and friends.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at the Meridian Assembly of God Church under the direction of Accent Funeral Home in Meridian.  A service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March, 20, at the Malta LDS Church in Malta under the direction of Rasmussen Funeral Home in Burley.

Friends and family are asked to gather at 1 p.m. at the Malta Church.  Bobby Lee White will be laid to rest in Malta.  A Bobby Lee White Memorial Fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank, and donations can be accepted at any branch.
